The frame also supports a range of capsules making it suitable for newborns and a 22kg seat capacity, ideal for growing toddlers.
The folded Mate pram is not overhead cabin compatible. To carry it on board aircrafts, the pram must be disassembled.

Like all SKIPPY prams, the Mate features all-terrain, maintenance-free EVA tyres with 4-wheel suspension. Whether you're tackling footpaths, parks, or city streets, the ride is smooth, quiet, and easy to manoeuvre. Plus, no air tyres means no pumping or no punctures, ever.
Yes, it is — but with an important note.
The Mate seat is newborn-friendly only when used with our approved newborn insert, which is required for babies under 6 months of age. This insert
offers extra head, neck and spine support for safe, ergonomic positioning in those early months.
The Mate seat also reclines up to 170 degrees, supporting flat-laying for supervised naps in the pram. This feature is especially useful for newborns who need plenty of rest while on the move.

Almost certainly! The Mate is currently the lightest full-sized pram on the market, making it easier than any other to lift and load into your boot. The folded simensions of the Mate are compact for a full-sized stroller, so it fits easily into most car boots.
